How to Use PLR Content Funnels Part 4 – How to Use PLR Sales Letters

tips-for-writing-persuasive-sales-copyThere are so many PLR ebooks out there that you could easily turn into your own product, so what holds you back? I’ve asked people this question before and one of the biggest concerns is setting up the sales page and writing the sales letter. Well, don’t let that stop you! There are plenty of sellers who also include sales letters with their PLR ebooks so you can just upload it and be ready to go.

Did you miss any of the other lessons? Click here to go back to lesson 1.

Tiffany Lambert includes a sales letter in her PLR content funnels including her newest one – Niche Funnel Riches.

So, how do you get the sales letter ready to use? Check out this video by Tiff and read my text version down below.

Step 1: Read through the copy. If you buy from a reputable seller it should make sense for the product and be fine, but it’s always safer to reread it anyways. You can also make sure the copy isn’t offering unreasonable promises or anything like that. If you make any changes to the course before selling it you’ll want to change the sales copy – like if you’re editing the product to work for a different audience.

Step 2: Alter as much as you want to alter – the more you alter the better with sales copy. Either make graphics or hire someone to create graphics if your PLR funnel doesn’t come with any. If you’re not comfortable with rewriting/altering the copy yourself, you can find a writer to do it for you. Most give discounts when rewriting content rather than writing content from scratch.

Step 3: Add video sales copy. It’s not necessary but video can really help your conversion rate and make the entire experience more personal for your visitors.

Step 4: Personalize the copy. Stories sell and you want add yours. If your product is about acne you can tell them about your struggles with acne. If it’s a weight loss program you can talk about how you were tired of your double chins and being tired all of the time and finally lost the weight. Be honest. Don’t lie just for the story, but include some personalization to draw in the people landing on your sales page.

Step 5: Include a strong call to action. You need to end telling them to buy your product NOW to get results. If you have any form of scarcity (like price going up soon or anything like that) you’ll add it here as well.

Step 6: Sign it. The best way to do this is to either scan in a picture of the signature you want to use or use a signature generator. It just looks nice to have a signature over plain text. You should also include your picture below your signature with your name typed out. It’s for branding and also to remind them you’re a real person.

Now all you need to do is copy and paste the copy onto your website and format it. I use Profits Theme to set up my sales pages because it’s as simple as paste in the copy and upload a header.

  3. Nice run down. I think step 4 – personalising the copy is very important. And of course, step 5 the call to action 🙂

    • Thanks! Tiff has great information so I figure why start from scratch when I can take the work she put in and (with her permission) add my own experiences to it to make it an even better resource!

  6. When I’m ready to start a new online project I’m definately going to look at PLR content more closely. I’ve not really used it in the past because I’m a writer myself, but it seems like a great way to get a jump start on just about any project.

    • I’m a writer as well. I have my own PLR store and several blogs. There comes a time when it’s just faster and easier to buy PLR – especially ebooks and reports. They take so much time to write! I could spend that time writing more blog posts or doing promotions instead.

  7. I think it’s wonderful that Tiffany is going to include a sales letter with her content funnels. She should see a major improvement to her PLR sales as a result of it because most people get stuck on the writing sales copy part!

I haven’t checked out her content funnels yet, but I will when I get a chance to sit down and really go over what she’s offering!

    • This newest one was really interesting to me since it was about creating your own niche funnels. I learned some things that I can apply to my own business which means it’s going to be great for IM bloggers trying to teach their readers this stuff.
