Zujava Challenge Day 5

Hey guys! I wanted to check in and let you guys know what I’ve been up to and where I am on the Zujava challenge. I’m currently one day behind on the Zujava challenge but I’ll be caught up before bed. I realized a little too late that I forgot about my weekly Squidoo lens though! I’m still kay because I made extras last week, but I’ve gotta make sure to remember that this week.

Here are the three new Zujava leaves I made.

  • Where to Buy Foam Coolers – This is a boring leaf but I was getting a lot of traffic to one of my Squidoo lenses for this keyword. The thing is, the lens was about taking care of cats in the winter. I’m already seeing Google traffic to this page!
  • Learn, Play, and Imagine With Lego Duplo – I spent quite a while on this leaf and I plan on adding more products but for now I’m pretty happy with it.
  • Amanda T’s Leafography – I decided to make a leafography to keep track of all of my lenses so I know how far in this challenge I am.

That takes me up to 4 leaves and it’s the 5th so I need to do one more today.

Today I’m working on a series of blog posts about using Tumblr. I’ve been using Tumblr a lot to build an audience for my video game blog. It’s also helping me keep up on important video game news. In fact, that’s where I originally found the information I based these two new video game posts on.

Two things about these posts…

In that first post I have a ton of official screenshots. You know how I found them? The video game company has a press pack available for download on their site with screenshots, box art, the logo, and some press releases. It’s free for bloggers and press. How cool is that? I wonder how many other niches you can find stuff like that for. I’m on the lookout for more of these press packs for future posts.

The second post I decided to spark up a debate. There is no news either way for which system it’s coming out for, it’s all speculation. There were quite a few people joining in to discuss it on Tumblr which was great.

And lastly, if you’re taking part in the Squidoo challenge don’t forget to head over to the week 6 check in.

That’s it for today!

  1. Looks like you have been very busy! That is good.

I have been doing pretty good with keeping up on the Squidoo challenge. Doing one per week is a good number for me right now. Keeps me moving forward but allows me the time to work on my other projects too.
